Join us for a special talk by Professor Tudor Parfittinternational renown scholar, “From Karachi to El Salvador: Reflections on Hidden Communities,” exploring the histories, identities, and journeys of Jewish and Judaizing communities around the world through the lens of one of the field’s leading scholars.

Tudor Parfitt is a distinguished historian, anthropologist, and authorknown internationally for his work on Jewish communities around the globe. He is Professor Emeritus at SOAS University of London and currently serves as Distinguished Professor at Florida International University (FIU). He has written extensively on hidden, lost, and emerging Jewish communities, including the Beta Israel of Ethiopia, the Lemba of Southern Africa, and communities throughout Asia and Latin America.
